Defensive Player of the Year, 2011 in SWAC (shared with Cliff Exama, Grambling)

Defensive end Adrian Hamilton from Prairie View A&M shared defensive player of the year honors with fellow Grambling State linebacker Cliff Exama showing they were top performers in the Southwestern Athletic Conference in 2011.

Hamilton currently is in the state of Georgia getting ready to play in the HBCU All-Star Bowl which takes place on December 18 at the Georgia Dome. Ranking first in sacks (20.5), tackles-for-loss (28.5), forced fumbles (5) in the SWAC and finishing fourth overall in tackles from the defensive ends position, Hamilton the fifth year senior has enjoyed a remarkable season.
