In Youngstown, Oh the YSU Penguins have formed one of the largest offensive lines in all of football and one of the mega-sized players from the unit Lamar Mady joined the College2Pro.com Players Platform Show after practice. Mady at 6’3 and 315-pounds is a road grinder who helped the YSU offense dominates the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2011.
Mady started all 11 games last year his first with the Penguins who previously played at Butler County Community College in Kansas. The most impressive aspect of Mady’s quick transition from one school to another is he did not allow a sack on any quarterback pressures. Part of a unit that averaged a school-record 36.2 points per game and had a school-best 458.6 total offensive yards per game, while distributing the ball exceptionally well with 231.1 rushing and 227.5 passing, show’s that Mady and his teammates are capable blockers in either category.
