2013 NFL Draft - Stephen F. Austin DE Willie Jefferson

2012 Pre-season All-Southland Conference Football First Team, Willie Jefferson of Stephen F. Austin looks to build on his monster season from 2011. Jefferson helped the Lumberjacks lead the nation in sacks and tackles for loss (1.36) per game, where Jefferson found himself leading the league in sacks (15) and set school record with 4.5 sacks against McNeese State. The converted receiver/tight end from Baylor; Jefferson has all the intangibles needed to be success at the next level. That success already earned, has him named to the Buck Buchanan Award Pre-season Watch List. Given Jefferson’s type of athleticism, explosiveness and speed off the edge, he will be a very intriguing potential 3-4 rush linebacker prospect who will definitely draw interest from NFL teams. The 6’6, 238-pound senior is one to watch for Stephen F. Austin in 2012.
