Caleb Schreibeis capped one of the most spectacular seasons in Montana State's defensive history with the school’s first-ever Buck Buchanan Award as the top defensive player in the FCS. Schreibeis forced eight fumbles, the most in NCAA football in 2012 and also chosen for the 2013 East-West Shrine Game, and consensus First Team All-America. One of the most polite players I've interviewed and I've interviewed a few hundred.
Invited to the East West Shrine game, Schreibeis over the two days I covered the practices held his own and a couple times I jotted down his name being praised by coaches during drills. A bit of a tweener at the next level NFL scouts now will focus on how best Schreibeis will fit their systems in the National Football League.
