Furr started his college career at Auburn and later left the team. Rated by some services as a four-star prospect at quarterback, Furr graduated early from high school to get a head start at Auburn, to go through spring practice and to establish himself as the quarterback of the future. Ultimately, Furr showed that he is one of the better safeties in college football along with be very versatile. Fort Valley State is where Furr played his final years of college football.
