Doug Rigg is an outstanding football player who was the starting ILB/OLB for West Virginia and has received many accolades during his Collegiate and High School career. Rigg played in 45 career games with 22 starts, 1 TD and had 141 tackles with 9 tackles for a loss and 3 sacks in his career including a forced fumble against USF in 2011 that gave the Mountaineers the possession they used to win the game and clinch an Orange Bowl bid. In 2012, Rigg was named to 2nd Team All-Big-12 Academics. Rigg excels at stopping the run, has good football instincts, superior play recognition and a willingness to learn and develop as a player.
