Xavier Lofton finished third on the Golden Lions defense with 88 tackles (42 solo). Showing the ability to drop in coverage he tied for first on the team with three pass break-ups. Opposite of that, Lofton, finished second with 7.5 tackles-for-loss, due to his ability to be disruptive in the backfield. An anchor to one of the tops defenses in the SWAC.
