Quote from the movie Moneyball, Scout: "We're all told at some point in time that we can no longer play the children's game, we just don't...we don't know when that's gonna be. Some of us are told at eighteen, some of us are told at forty, but we're all told."
If you look to continue your dream the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are holding tryouts and take very seriously the use of these one day camps. Assistant GM & Director of Player Personnel Ted Goveia finds these as a rich source of scouting and adding players to his roster. With the NFL Draft a few weeks away not all players will make it, leaving the door open to play professional football in Canada in the CFL.
Goveia joins the College2Pro.com Players Platform Show, to discuss the opportunities the are few and far between at this juncture for many players leaving college or still looking to play the game of football.
April 27th, the Blue Bombers are holding tryouts in Girard, OH, located about an hour from Cleveland and Pittsburgh, PA.
