Scherer had another sensational season, tallying at least 90 tackles for the second consecutive season while earning the team’s Aaron O’Neal St. Louis Player of the Year Award from the team. He finished the season ranked second on the team with 93 tackles (47 solo), a mark that ranked 11th in the SEC and eighth among non-seniors.
He is poised for another successful season as one of the Tigers' key components to their defense. New Mizzou Head Coach Barry Odom will likely lean on Scherer to help lead Missouri defensively.
