Garrick Jones (born December 2, in Little Rock Arkansas) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Houston Texans, and was in training camps with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at Arkansas State University, where he played offensive tackle starting 32 of 33 games facing 7 first through fourth round defensive players while playing for the Arkansas State Indians. Jones also played in the Canadian Football League for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Eskimos, and finishing his playing career with the Arkansas Diamonds that were part of the Indoor Football League.
It all started at North Little Rock High School West Campus where he played defense and offense, where he anchored the O-Line while playing DT and DE for the D-Line. Jones was also a 2 sport Letterman while there, in addition to football, he also excelled in track and field where he earned all region and all state honors in both sports. In recent years, he has founded programs geared toward foundation building for athletes ranging from puppies to pros, and has dedicated his life to his calling of helping athletes develop on and off the field of play.
