"Centering Prayer" (The Way of the Heart) #454; 5.3.13

Spirituality is made real when we experience a close relationship with God.  In our study, "Intimacy With God", we seek to eliminate the separation between theology and spirituality, between doctrine and practice.  In the previous four sessions,we looked at the introduction to "Contemplative" or "Centering" Prayer.  Today, we look at a model of this form of meditative prayer; three simple Rules (guidelines) for participating in this ancient form of Christian meditation which is truly a calling to those who desire a deeper relationship with The Lord.  Succeeding sessions wil lead participants in a clarification of Centemplative Prayer, Q & A covering common questions on the subject, and direction for a lifetime of walking in and with the Lord.
