The topic today is, "Do You Know The Source of Your Identity?"  Why is this so important?  Well, your identity, that is, who you see yourself to be, is the key to what you believe, what and how you think, feel, choose, act, make plans, determined who you married, led to why you did or didn't marry, determines how you deal with problems, even how you created those problems and solved or did not solve those problems.  Who you see yourself to be developed the plans and strategies that led to where you find yourself today, how you got there, what you are doing about it, if anyting.  Ever heard the expression,  "You are where you are today because of your best thinking!"?  Or, how about this one, "The person you will be five years from now is directly related to the books you read, what you watch and listen to, and your five most important friends."

Wouldn't you like to know how this all came about?  Do I have your attention yet?  Well, this subjet got my attention--some fifty plus years ago.  I know the world as changed a lot in the past fifty years but the cause/effect relationship that your identity creates has not.  and yes, I will look at this topic from the perspective of spirituality, God's Word to us which still rings true today.
