Does it go without saying that words play a very important part in our lives?  OK, I won't say it.  My guess is that we have become unaware, if not immune to, the level of importance that what we say, how we say it, and the topics of our conversations really are.  More and more people just don't care!  Well, I care, for others, and myself as well.  This is because of the incredible level of devastation, disappointment, defeat, the shear havoc that words have played in the lives of so many on a continual basis.

Today, we begin a two-three week series on "What Are You Trying To Say?"  This will communicate to all of us not only the immediate impact of our words and the topics of our conversations, but the impact on each of us on the longer term as well.

I see the era in which we live as a critical time for us to display true integrity by matching our words, deeds and conversations with the essence of who we "profess" to be; a consistent life of being true to our commitments, covenants, and confessions.  This was a crisis point in my life some time ago and continues to have an ongoing impact on everything I say and do with particular emphasis on our ongoing conversations and how they reflect the focus we have on life both now and the future.  Is this a tall order?  We'll see as we look at "What Are You Trying To Say?"
