What definition are you using to define who you are? Are we human beings? Why yes, you say. Are we also spirit-beings? Why, yes, again, you might say. Well, which is it? If you say, "Human Being," then you would be correct in living in and from the human-being essence that you are ... primarily out of your head! If you said "Spirit-Being," then you would, by definition, live in, by, and from the spirit-being essence that you say you are, namely, your spirit. So, which is it? Living in, from, and out of BOTH will cause much confusion. I that where you are? My take? "I am a spiri; I have a soul; and I live in a "body!" To be such, then is to live in, by, from, and through the essence of spirit-being that I am.
This does not have to be difficult to figure out. For me ... I first saw myself as a human-being. When I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, I began to see and experience my identity as a spirit-being. So, how do I now live??? I am a spirit; I have a soul; and I live in a body. So there! It's done! And I can now live as Christ would have me live! So there!
