"Your World View--"The Sound of Silence" Ep.#36; July 05, 2021

Most Christians don't know anything about the spiritual aspects of "The Sound of Silence."  And yet this song by Simon & Garfunkel gives hints to that very thing.  And, the practice of Biblical meditation yields great direction and answers to the very things the song brings up, E.g., eliminating the sense of fear in darkness; considering darkness as a friend; having a vision that is planted in you and yet, still remains withing the sound of silence instead of experiencing a plan to see the vision turn to good and be experienced in you.  There are many other applications as well; no time to go there at this time.  

Overachievement vs. Taking it Easy becomes both a great problem and a great goal to move through.  Do we listen and yet not hear?  Do we look and yet not see?  Do we think that we know and yet we do not do?  When we are silent, God has the opportunity to move in and change the setting, the problems, the issues of life, the problems that arise and the solutions that await the re-ordering of our priorities.  It can all happen when we tackle 'The Sounds of Silence."
