TOPIC; Recently Kanye West made a statement,"slavery was a choice" Like many others this effected me,then a day later there were those who agreed with his statement.This began to worry me and to understand the many different perspectives and opinions on things that people have.But when it came to SLAVERY,i was sure that was something we could agree on especially amongst people of slave descent.

For a blackman to say this especially a black man of Kanye West stature ,reputation,and influence,is a damaging thing to the whole history,of SLAVERY and a major disrespect to our Ancestors,in my opinion.and if this statement isnt checked it could lead to more ignorant wealthy blacks and whites conforming to this crazy idea

At this point what Kanye has done is fuel the fire for white justification,and wealthy corperate racist personal who familys had slaves, to say 'we choose this way of life"...i never choose to be called a nigger.or to be treated less then a human being.and i dont believe any did,but i could be wrong.So tonight we ask the question..DO YOU THINK SLAVERY WAS A CHOICE?
