Dr. Val is a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, preacher, teacher, author, Life Purpose and Discovery coach, leadership consultant, and speaker. She is the founder and CEO of Stepping Out with Purpose. Through her company, she provides online courses, personal and professional coaching & consulting, media training, and book publishing services to help aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs gain the confidence and necessary tools to make their life dreams a reality.

As an empowerment coach, Dr. Val's mission is to train, equip, empower, and inspire women leaders and entrepreneurs to step up and step out of their comfort zone to reach their fullest potential worldwide. She is the author of five books, Talk Time with God, Unleashed Power of Prayer: Teens and Young Adults' Prayer Journal Workbook, co-author of PEARLS, Stepping Up and Stepping Out Journaling Experience, and her newest addition, The Effects of Prayer in the Life of a Leader Training Workbook.
