She is also a frequent public speaker discussing journalism, digital media, entrepreneurship, women of color and girls' empowerment at United Nations, Columbia U, New York U, Spelman, Howard University, the Essence Music Fest & more.

Her expertise is creating engaging, revenue-generating content for niche markets, brands and personalities, and writing/editing entertainment, culture, lifestyle and women-focused content. She has created customized content for brands such as L'Oreal, BMW, Google, Wells Fargo and Dell, and she has executive produced 300+ web videos and created a dozen original web series.

Outside of her career and business ventures, Elayne is passionate about her longtime service as a mentor and advisor to young people.
