Brad is a sixth-grader with his head in the clouds, and his mind more on creating drawings than his studies. Banned from his favorite pasttime until his grades improve, Brad is visited by a mysterious raven...the raven gives him a magic pen, which Brad uses to create a monster...and you-know-what breaks loose!

Jason Lady's debut novel "Monster Problems" takes us back to middle school, where uptight parents, nasty little brothers, slacker buddies and quirky classmates (not to mention crazy teachers!) abound. And then there's the monster...sorry, no spoilers.

An Army brat, Jason now lives in Cleveland, Ohio. He works in Training and Talent Management, and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Jason is also a fan of the Indians, Marvel Movies and music of the 80s.
