Our guests this morning are brothers Andy and Alex Graham, owners of Paradise Bowls.

Alex and Andy are South Bay natives, born and raised in Palos Verdes. They both attended and played baseball at UCSB before embarking on different careers in professional sports. Andy pitched in the Colorado Rockies organization for six years, while Alex worked in the front office for the San Diego Padres. After his playing career ended, Andy moved to Santa Barbara while Alex moved back to the South Bay. After coming up with the idea for Paradise Bowls, Alex opened their first location in Manhattan Beach in January 2013, followed by the Hermosa Beach location a couple years later. Andy has since moved back to the South Bay and the stores are now run by both brothers along with the help of some fantastic managers. They now have four locations including Irvine and Newport Beach with more possibly on the way.

This morning, we’re back to our favorite topic – FOOD – and its shows like this that make me wish we were in a studio where our guests could bring us samples, but then we’d be eating and not talking, so I guess it’s better this way….
