Our guest this morning is Joyce Rooney from the City of Redondo Beach Community Services Department.

Joyce has worked in the transit field for over 25 years. She’s been the Transit Manager for Redondo Beach since April 2010 and was previously employed by the City of West Hollywood for 20 years.

Joyce manages the local Transit programs including the Beach Cities Transit (BCT) fixed route Lines 102 and 109; the WAVE senior and disabled Dial-A-Ride program; the local Bus Pass program and MTA Bus Pass program.

This morning, we’re going to find out what it takes to keep the transit wheels rolling here in Redondo Beach!
