2) Use therapeutic theories which have been proven to work on average.

It relies mainly on psychotropic medication and cognitive behavioral therapies as though the inner world depended on the outside world. The work is about maintenance and functionality of the help seeker. We can do much better. So this becomes an ethical question to therapists. We need to remember that diseases are symptoms of a disconnect from an internal process. This opens the door to a different approach: Working with this internal process.

The healing work guides us to 2 realizations: 1) Connecting with the real person heals: diseases simply lessen or disappear, and 2) Mindfulness helps you connect with the internal process, what Luc Watelet calls the “real person” without filters while using accepted theories adds an extra unnecessary filter/distance between therapists and clients.
