Not only does overloading ourselves have negative consequences on our own physical, mental, and spiritual health but it can spill over and negatively impact others. Importantly, it also dishonors God in that we fail to do our best to care for temple of our Holy Spirit that He has blessed us with. In her book, Christian Holism, reviews how we can take care of out body, mind and spirit in a manner that honors the Lord.
