Orlando City still can’t buy a goal right now but thanks to goalkeeper Adam Grinwis — in his MLS debut — and a first-choice back line finally healthy, the Lions grabbed a point at home in a 0-0 draw against the Houston Dynamo. There’s not a lot of scoring to recap, but we do our best to give you the flavor of the game and we do pick our Man of the Match.

Marta represented the Orlando Pride well at the FIFA awards by capturing her sixth Player of the Year crown. We discuss her year and how she stacked up against some other outstanding players. We also touched on Rachel Hill returning to Australia this off-season to play for the Perth Glory.

USL Senior Vice President of Division III Steven Short jumped on with us to talk about the return of Orlando City B, just how many teams the USL’s newest division will jump to (eventually), the league’s new branding strategy, promotion and relegation, and much more. It’ll be good to see OCB back in business.

The mailbag featured some quality questions and we even had a couple iTunes reviews to share this week. Without a game this weekend, we have no predictions but we’ll give you those next week.
