Dr. Frita McRae Fisher is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. She earned an IB degree (International Baccalaureate Degree) from St. Petersburg Senior High School. Upon graduating from high school, she enrolled at Florida State University. She took full advantage of all the various activities that college life had to offer while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She maintained an “A” average and was accepted into medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Speaking has always been a passion for Dr. Frita. In fact, her college education was largely paid through speaking contests that she had won on local, district, and national levels.

Dr. Frita accomplished a great deal while matriculating at Meharry, but her most outstanding accomplishment was being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society. (This is the highest honor attainable by a medical student.)

Dr. Frita completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at Georgetown University Hospital and her Nephrology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. She is currently triple board certified – in Nephrology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Dr. Frita is a Nephrologist and Hypertension Specialist in Midtown Atlanta. She is now seeking to transition her career into being more of a public speaker or a medical expert for large audiences.
