KAREN SARGENT writes emotionally charged fiction with characters whose imperfect faith collides with real-life conflicts. (In other words, grab a tissue!) In addition to writing novels, she writes devotions for various Guideposts publications and is a frequent contributor to Chicken Soup for the Soul.

A recently retired high school and college English teacher, Karen gets her teaching fix by presenting writing workshops at guilds, conferences, and coffee shops. Her passions are encouraging aspiring authors and launching books for published authors. She and her husband are adjusting to their empty nest in the beautiful Arcadia Valley.
