Rough week for Texas Tech as they lose both to Baylor and Oklahoma State, lose ground in their quest for their first Big 12 title and lose Keenan Evans to a foot injury. And while Evans is trying to play through it, his effectiveness has been greatly diminished. Needing to win out to get at least a share of the Big 12 title, Texas Tech welcomes Kansas to Lubbock on Saturday and host College Gameday for the first time ever (for basketball).

In baseball, the Red Raiders have cruised to a 5-0 record and are the last remaining undefeated team in the conference. With a weekend series with UTSA next up, Texas Tech deals with the reality of losing their ace, Steven Gingery, for the season.
