Jesse & Tammy Storr: Bickering, a detriment to ONENESS: What is its root cause?

Brothers and Sisters, we ended our discussion Monday night discussing the adverse impact and negative affect current global activities have on the success of ONENESS in marriage and of course our ability to live our lives in harmony and in love. We ended our conversation with scripture reminding us of how we all at some point or another in our past played the harlot in some spiritual, mental, or emotional belief and/or activity. We define spiritual, mental, or emotional whoredom as beliefs and activities which separate us from the principles and precepts of our Father, the Creator God. In addition to being God's first institution (Genesis 2:24), marriage presents the best model we have for embracing co-existing, coping and implementing God's plan for his creation as we live out our earthly purpose. From scripture we are admonished and warned concerning un-Godly spirits with goals, objectives, and strategies designed to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) our joy and our victory. Proverbs 5:1-6 describes our need to be attentive to wisdom, incline our ear to understanding while exercising discretion to guard our lips with knowledge. We understand from scripture that gender can be interpreted asexually, meaning the application is not limited to the male or the female for both have the capacity to play the part of the whore or to be the enabler of blessings and/or curses.
