Brothers and Sisters, we continue our dialogue regarding marriage and the pursuit of ONENESS in the 21st century. A century which started with more freedom for women than any time in history and a time with marriage failures increasing at an alarming rate. Research among women or color validate an increasing percentage of professional women who neither marry nor experience the blessing of motherhood. A key reason given for the failure to marry and/or to have children is the lack of qualified available men of color. Over the past few weeks we reviewed some of the reasons for this perceived reality in the 21st century, the most accurate description seems to be a psychological dysfunction which adversely impacts both men and women of color. Lack of trust and commitment to ONENESS seems to be the inbred spiritual and mental reality for many men and women of color which negatively impacts the family as the nurturing agent for human development. Even one generation of sub-optimized thinking can influence the next second, third and even forth generation.
