He is saying NOT to have worrisome thoughts, but to have wholesome thoughts. To be worried is to be double-minded, not being sure of anything in your life. The Book of
James says that a double-minded man is not stable. True, a young man might be concerned about his future, and an old man might be concerned about the sunset of his life, but
neither must be worried.
