This truth was first introduced by the Lord Jesus Himself in John 3:3, 5, when He was approached by a Pharisees, a Rabbi named Nicodemus. In this biblical truth,

“Those Who Are Born Twice, Will Die Once!”

“Those Who Are Born Once, Will Die Twice!” The Lord Jesus was reminding Nicodemus the truth about physical birth and the spiritual birth.

It seems even for a Rabbi this concept was mind-boggling!

Such biblical concept stems from the fact that when one receives Christ as his/her Lord and Savior, he is given a spiritual “Birth Certificate,” according to 1 John 5:10-12 KJV “ He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. V-11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. V-12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

Those who receive Christ and being born spiritually, and given a new birth certificate are considered to have been born twice, are written in the Book of Life according to Revelation 20:11-15. Those who are not found in the Book of life, are considered to have been born once, consequently they face the second death. Vs. 14-15.
