The Bible Likens Tongue to a Fire, a World of Iniquity...!
Today's program will be short since I have a 12:30/PM, doctor's appointment.
There are at least 25-30 verses in the Bible regarding the tongue. If the Bible, the Word of God mentions something once, we know it is so important, but, what if it mentions it 25-30 times?
The Bible warns that "...Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Proverb 18:21 KJV states that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
Proverb 12:18 " There is that speaketh like the piercing of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health."
Next week Dr. Richard Robinson will join us to speak about the men of the Bible and some who used their tongue to glorify God and promote His work, and how some abused their tongue and became a liability to God!
