Many prophets and Judges in the Old Testament resisted God's calling, including Moses, Isaiah, and Gideon, but Prophet Jeremiah tops of all!

In Jeremiah 1:6 we read how he responded to LORD's calling by saying "...Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak for I am a child, pay close attention to the LORD's answer, in V-7.

"But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I commanded thee thou shall speak. V-8 " Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD."
