The Ebony 100 Directory Service's main mission is to help Black-owned small/medium businesses improve their online web presence through search engine optimization results (SERPS) to help close the gap in the digital divide -- a problem faced by many ethnicity-owned businesses.  Black Businesses are defined as African American, African, African Latino or anyone that defines themselves as Black first!

Improving the online web presence for Black businesses also plays into the dual mission of wanting local, national & global viewers and other external businesses doing business with our directory’s black-owned member businesses who offer products and services of equal value or more valuable than big box stores and other product & service entities to improve the economic well-being of all ethnic communities.  We also encourage and facilitate directory members to do business with each other.

Ebony 100 ’s vision is to help black-owned businesses prepare for the massive amount of online shopper engagements and interactivity to be had with B2C consumers and other B2B businesses now through 2020 from free, organic traffic when they are listed in the Ebony 100 Directory Services for Ethnicity-Owned Businesses, while also encouraging our member businesses to consistently explode social media with their business webpages on the directory by sending out to social media a consistent borage of product information, through videos, podcasts, blogs, photos, personal statements. We also encourage businesses to have their own optimized websites to drive traffic from the directory back to their websites.
