Beware the Perennial Gospel -- The Parker J Cole Show

Once again, I turn to Marcia Montenegro as she continues to stand at the forefront, rightly diving the word of the truth with discernment, objectivity, and an intellectual pursuit to peel back the veil of those who talk 'Christian-ese' but are far from biblical Christianity.

The Perennial Gospel can be characterized by a mixture of Gnostic philosophy, and misappropriation of scripture. Specifically, it relates to 'actualizing Christ' within 'you'. Like Richard Rohr, who we discussed in depth on our last program about the Enneagram, perennialists hold that all religions share the same core truth but is accessed through mystical means. Thus, Christ is not God, but merely an aspect of God WITHIN you.
