Mario José Pagán Morales is a Nuyorican poet and cultural worker born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised in the South Bronx. Born in San Diego California,  went to school in El Monte and La puente

Went to live to Mexico for a period of time  got married and had 3 kids, became a widow at age 24 raised my kids as a single mom, now

They are grown up and married.

I live in Houston now, married again

And I am in a Herbalife running club

Started running in 2016 as a form of therapy or just to keep my mind busy, my me time, my first Marathon event was in 2017 I went to cheer for my coach and I got inspired from seeing all that people running

With prosthetic legs , blind people, elderly people ,  it made me feel so embarrassed because I am healthy thank God and I was just standing there, so I said to myself that the next year I would be running with them,  and I did ,therefore I haven't missed those events and I found myself wanting to run the LA Marathon which I did  for the second time, so I go back home every chance I have, I'm on my 7th Marathon
