Margaret Elysia Garcia the author of the short story collection Graft, to be published in October 2022, and the ebook Sad Girl & Other Stories (2014), and the audiobook Mary of the Chance Encounters (2016). She’s a member of Season 9 Community Literary Initiative, and will be teaching the Sacramento chapter of the CLI poetry publishing class for Season 10 coming this September. Her poetry chapbook, Burn Scars, about the Dixie Fire will be published in July 2022. She’s the co-editor of the forthcoming anthology Red Flag Warning to be published by HeyDay Books. Her creative work can be seen online and in print in many literary journals and websites. Margaret is the co-founder of Pachuca Productions/Las Pachucas Films: the only latinx based theatre troupe in the Sierras where she is the head writer and producer. She’s also a reporter with Feather Publishing in Quincy, CA.

Tim Earley is the author of five collections of poems, including Poems Descriptive of Rural Life and Scenery (Horse Less Press, 2014) and Linthead Stomp (Horse Less Press, 2016). His Selected Poems are forthcoming from Redhawk Publications. His work has appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Chicago Review, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Conduit, Typo, the Hick Poetics anthology, and The Ecopoetry Anthology. He has received writing fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and Hawthornden Castle in Lasswade, Scotland.

 

Tim lives in Asheville, North Carolina and has recently taken up trail running in the surrounding mountains.
