Did you know that having a conflict or disagreement with someone could actually bring you closer to that person? Conflicts are often common yet many often lack the skill to resolve them. A conflict can be viewed as a serious disagreement, argument, dispute, clash or quarrel.

Many indivuals try very hard to avoid conflicts. Yet others may constantly look to engage in conflicts. Whether one is having a conflict within themself. Or perhaps the conflict could be with another. The question is what is one to do? It is ok to disagree with another. However, why does the disagreement have to turn into a verbal argument, fight, loss of a job, break up of a relationship and in some cases death? 

It also seems like today we are living in a society where there is constant disrespect. Being polite and effective communication skills is becoming a thing of the past. When individuals have the ability to resolve conflicts quickly and painlessly, mutual trust can develop and flourish. Let's learn how to respect one another. Express your wants and needs in a non- threatening manner. When one learn how to manage their emotions effectively and not personalize things then avoiding conflicts will not be necessary. Stop running from conflicts let's discuss how to deal with them.
