Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. Each year more than 41,000 individuals die by suicide. The impact not only affect the Individual it also affect others including love ones, family members and society as a whole.
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Suicidal thoughts much like mental health conditions can affect anyone. In fact it is often the result of untreated mental health conditions. Suicidal thoughts although common should not be considered normal and can often indicate a more serious issue. Know the warning signs and risk of suicide. Suicide is preventable.
