The Resistance Has Begun in America: "Not Ready to Make Nice with MAGA" We rise, a tide against the storm, The echoes of a nation torn— A flag unfurled, but not for peace, Not ready to make nice, not yet, at least.
The air is thick with angry cries, The truth obscured by clever lies, But we remember what was lost— The cost of freedom, what it costs.
Not ready to make nice, not now, When hate is worn like a holy vow. We see the banners, bold and bright, And we will not kneel, we will not fight For walls that keep us torn apart— We will defend the beating heart Of liberty, of justice true, Of the dreams that we once knew.
The shouts of those who would divide, Who'd twist the past, erase the tide, We won't bow down, we won't relent, Not when the future's where we’ve bent.
We’re not ready to make nice with rage, Not ready to turn another page In this book of division, inked in fear— We still believe, we still stand here.
Not ready to make nice with lies, Not ready to close our eyes To all the voices lost in hate, To all the words we cannot wait To shout—no more, not like this— We resist, and we insist:
The soul of this land is not for sale, Not wrapped in banners that will fail To hide the cracks, to mask the shame— We will rise and speak our names.
We’ll make a stand, we’ll lift our voice, And say no more—there is no choice. We’re not ready to make nice, not yet, But ready to fight, to not forget.
For in this land of hope and dream, We’ll tear apart the darkest scheme, And build again with strength and might, Not ready to make nice—but ready for the fight.
