“I made a friend on the train and we’re going to go get some food and explore.” That was the message handsome and openly gay Aaron Salazar sent from the train on which he was travelling to Portland.
He was next found near death beaten and in a coma after he was thrown from the train.
Amtrak claims he jumped and is hiding all other information.
Professionals who have examined him, and are caring for him as he is in a coma, find Amtrak's claim ridiculous. As does his family members. His wounds and demeanor were that of someone attacked and a vicitim of attempted murder... not a suicide.
Tonight, I am joined by a couple of Aaron's relatives as they talk with me and our journlist panel of Brody Levesque and Dawn Ennis.
