What is the experience of black youth in America, and black LGBTQ youth in particular?  Today's guest will give us insights.  We talk to Cristin “Cici” Battle , the director of People For the American Way Foundation’s Young People For.  She heads the organization’s national leadership development organization for college-aged youth.  Battle is a youth engagement expert that has developed and directed youth programs in local, state and international spaces and is the first director of Young People For that has also previously participated in the Young People For fellowship program.

We will look at black youth at risk during these troubled times.  We will have commentary on anti-Black police violence and accountability, and justice reform, as well as the impacts of police brutality and Trump's irresponsible leadership during these crises, and being Black during a global pandemic.
