Mark Lapwood ACS (Australian Cinematographer Society) is an accredited award- winning Director of Photography, and Professional Freelance Cinematographer, based in New Zealand, who trained in Australia - whose work has taken him around the world, with over 25 years’ experience filming tv commercials, music videos, documentaries and feature films.

He’s highly skilled in studio and location shoots, specialising in aerial, often collaborating in many languages and cultures, with both large and small crews.

Mark particularly has a strong eye for natural beauty in landscapes, architecture and people. His clients include Adidas, Toyota, Lexus, Yamaha, AMP and he has been trusted with tourism campaigns with great experience in Asia - for China, South Korea, India and New Zealand.

Mark’s work covers a range of styles and disciplines from bright, aspirational lifestyle pieces, to compelling, moody and dramatic scenes - With over 200 TVC’s under his belt – Mark gained Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) accreditation in 2006.

With extensive experience across different genres and a keen interest in changing technology, Mark continues to work on a diverse range of projects including self- produced feature film ‘Soul Places’, beautifully crafted content pieces and high end tv commercials, finding joy in his work making beautiful images to tell great stories.
