A true legend and icon, Marla Gibbs blazed trails for representation and diversity across the American consciousness. The beloved celebrity, five-time Emmy-nominated actress, is famous for her memorable portrayal of the maid, Florence, on the CBS hit comedy, “The Jeffersons.” She went on to create another hit sitcom, the NBC series, “227.” which she developed from the original stage play of the same title, as Executive Producer on the show. Artistic to her core, she is a jazz singer, jazz club owner, actress, businesswoman, and maverick.
