T.J.Brown debut "AFTERTHOUGHTS FROM THE SOULTRESS"

Born Tanya Jenine Brown, TJ was raised on the south side of Chicago. At the age of 5 she began performing for her family singing vintage soul. She began singing in her church choir as a child and was quickly a featured soloist for the congregation.
Her favorite memory of music was singing at her after school program for the teachers. TJ says, “I was nervous but I remember feeling like I could fly and do anything… and when I discovered I had a double gift from god and I could write… the feeling was “indescribable”.
T J’s desire to share her vocal gift with the world came to her while doing session work for other artists. Over the last10 years she has worked with various producers developing her own unique sound that encompasses her love for music. It is easy to find T J’s passion in her inspiring vocals and superior writing skills. Her style is distinct and soulful, “I maintain the smooth …..I love sexy romantic music…I am a soul descendant of the past and a student of it as well”.
