Today, we have on with us, Shaheed Omar, long-time Advocate and Voice for the Incarcerated. Omar is a Reentry Expert with a Masters' Degree in Criminal Justice, and he has been actively working with prisoners in a few states, although primarily in the State of Virginia. Shaheed played a Major Role in his advocacy work in the 2005 Police Brutalitys, which he will be discussing, as well as speaking out on behalf of the incarcerated individuals. Not only to speak out on their behalf.
