Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light.

Rehabilitation is something many believe occurs in prisons. However, in many cases,  incarcerated individuals find their own way in which to be productive, as our beliefs are to the contrary. We will touch briefly on this today, and much more.  Our two special guests today, had different experiences in their lives and they will  speak about  their individual struggles, downfalls, determination and achievements.

Kyle Robinson a formerly incarcerated advocate for reform of U.S incarceration practices. Sentenced as adult (age 16) Kyle is a beneficiary and proponent of 2nd Chances. As a public speaker approaching certification for Presentation Mastery, Kyle utilizes his story and technical skills to assist incarcerated individuals throughout the country to develop their online presence and outreach impact. Helping incarcerated individuals develop systems that will empower them to advocate on their own behalf is his daily focus

Kenny Lai is a formally incarcerated  advocate for Criminal Justice Reform, as it pertains to treatment of the incarcerated and conditions within the prisons. Kenny, upon release, entered into a supportive transitional aftercare Program. He eventually entered College, while simultaneously seeking work and more permanent residence. The Program impressed with his motivation to succeed, allowed him to remain in their program until he acheived all three goals.

Although, having his Bachelor's Degree in Business, Kenny's passion has been to bring awarenss that prisons are not the answer, for individuals struggling with Addictions.  So, let's welcome our Guests Kyle and Kenny.
