She possesses one of the most memorable, distinctive voices ever heard in popular music. She's an accomplished singer/songwriter who etched herself into music history with her smash hit song, the female anthem, “Superwoman”. That song made international waves, selling over a million units, being certified Gold and named the Billboard R&B Song of the Year in 1989. She IS a super woman. She's Karyn White.

Established in 2011, Karyn opened the doors with Karyn White Enterprises Inc. (KWE) a dynamic multi-platform media company offering diverse and uplifting entertainment across the broad media landscapes of music, television and film. White released her long awaited album "Carpe Diem" on her own label and distributed through Light Year/EMI.

Currently, White's new Movie and Soundtrack, Gale &The Storm, is a story loosely based on Karyn's life and Manager Jay King, Legendary Music Producer & founder of Grammy Award Winning group "Club Nouveau”.  The movie's synopsis revolves around a Meet AKBAR, a gifted, prolific lyricist and songwriter influenced by J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar and the legendary God MC “Rakim.” The 25 year-old is a former college student hailing from Columbus, Ohio with a conscious rap style and lyrical maturity far beyond his years. Signed by R&B Icon Karyn White to her label Supernova Unlimited.  AKBAR’s sound is underpinned with knowledge of self-love and black empowerment. This year, AKBAR’s set to blow, starting with his debut single ‘YRBG’ (an acronym for ‘Young Righteous Black Girl’) as well as his second single  " Everlasting Thought ( Gotta Keep Movin) " an anthem for the culture that gives insight to the mind of young black men in  the inner cities.
