Living life as “the sky isn’t even the limit” Aimee Purple Rain offers an authentic sound and
utilizes her voice to inspire and empower others. “It’s tough proving your value in the music
industry as a woman, which is why my grind comes with army boots to the ground.”
As a local hit with her rhymes alone, the town of Norfolk persistently prodded Rain to pursue
music further and begin a career. In 2012 she went on to do just that and joined Queen of the
Ring Battle League under Purple Rayne, which allowed her to polish and perfect her freestyle
skills. During her time in the league, she linked with St. Louis producer HSnow Beats and went
full throttle into writing music. Her potent, unbending rhymes caught the ears of legendary Hip
Hop artist and battle rapper Cassidy, who continues to co-sign Rain to this very day.
In 2021 Aimee Purple Rain debuted her first single which created a radio and media frenzy. Her
raw deliverance and backpack East Coast style immediately was embraced. Thisis50, Hype
