Elisa Gomez Taylor is releasing her second CD "LAVA MAN,” Contemporary Brazilian originals, flavored with Spanish guitar intertwining cool Latin, Samba, Bossa Nova, and R&B rhythms with a classical spice of cello, English horn, and oboe textures. Melodic vocals poetically paint a tapestry of stories about love, ecstasy, love-games, and Innocence.
"LAVA MAN" cd delivers original compositions of Brazilian-Jazz rhythms, with Spanish guitar intertwining in smooth R&B grooves, and classical textures of strings, cello, and oboe embellishments. Lyrical tapestries unveil stories about love-games and sacrifices, the ecstasy of dancing, and twisting up love- locks for Bossa Nova.
“Lava Man” sprang forth from the marvelous collaboration of artist talents led by Elisa and her handpicked personnel; composer, producer, Brazilian jazz guitarist & bassist, Sandro Albert, and co-producer, engineer and pianist Stephan Oberhoff who played on many tracks, Chris Wabich on drums and percussions, Myka Miller on oboe and English horn, Cassio Durante on percussions and Professor Joon Jun Sung on cello.
At an early age, her desire to sing was fueled from listening and singing to her father's broad jazz collection, her mother's stash of Cuban Big Bands records, and her brother’s R&B band and musical influence. Her vocal and writing style blends a clear Fusion of American, Brazilian, Smooth Latin, and R&B, singing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Elisa expanded her talent when she moved to Hawaii for six years.
